Don’t Leaf Me Alone

It is my first time participating in the Community Warehouse Annual Fundraiser.  I must say that it is also my very first time trying to paint on furniture.  With so many steps starting with sanding every little corner, the base coat and various paint layers; the whole process was a unique experience.  As I always say ‘I am learning something new on every little project’.

I am thankful to my dear friend Janet MacGregor for getting me involve and for her words of encouragement. 

As we delivered our little piece of furniture to the Community Warehouse, we met other artists and viewed some awesome pieces of art.  Their main purpose is involvement in a nation-wide effort to distribute furniture and household goods to families and individuals in need.

The largest Annual Fundraiser – The table & CHAIR AFFAIR takes place every spring.
