When I first
painted this scene on plywood sheets mounted on a backyard fence ten years ago,
I had little previous experience with outdoor murals. The image
faded through the seasons due to the ill-suited paint products I used. Now, I am repainting the original image with media suited for outdoor
conditions, in the process adding more color and contrast.

Serious fence envy here! Enjoy it! I'm sure the hounds will!

It is so beautiful to incorporate the garden with the mural. I am hoping to have a mural painted on a towering very institutional type wall at the school where I teach. Any advice for me as I embark on this project?
